Pop-up North Wales Contemporary Craft Fair – December 2026

Bryn Teg Ceramics comes from a small Isle of Anglesey studio based in Dwyran. Their work draws inspiration from folklore, magic and the natural world. They use techniques like mark making, sgraffito, and oxides to infuse each piece with detail and storytelling. Through their art they aim to evoke wonder and connection, encouraging others to explore their own narratives through sculpture.

Fonted travel across the UK photographing the signage on hotels, pubs, shops and iconic buildings. As a result, they have generated a vast image bank of letters in a variety of typographic styles. From these, they create unique word-art in the form of pre-designed words and phrases.

Gareth Williams is a designer and printmaker based in North Wales, producing limited edition, hand-pulled screen, lino and letterpress prints inspired by pop-art, punk and old-school tattoos.

Having grown up with a love of textiles and a persistent need to balance hard head-work with handicrafts, I finally found my way to weaving post-pandemic and have been making up for lost time ever since. For me, it involves an intoxicating blend of painstaking fiddly stuff and creative flow moments, every piece generating more inspiration and ideas about what to try next than I will ever have time to pursue.

I weave on a floor loom at home in Snowdonia, using mostly deadstock yarns in natural materials – predominantly British-milled wool.

Joolzery is a self-taught metalsmithing jewellery who creates one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art, using recycled copper, sterling silver, Fordite and semi-precious stones. They are influenced by Antoni Gaudi and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Katya is a multidisciplinary artist working across watercolour, acrylic, and ceramics. Alongside their fine art practice, they create illustrations for children’s books and produce animated films.
Having recently moved to Talysarn, they have already found deep inspiration in the beauty of the local landscape. This connection led Katya to create a series of postcards celebrating the area’s remarkable landmarks, including Portmeirion and Goleudy Tŵr Mawr. Through this work, Katya hopes to capture the unique character of their new home and share it with others.

Exploring the landscapes, wildlife and plant forms of North Wales through a variety of printmaking techniques

Cath creates hand build cute, fun small batch ceramics from her workshop on the island of Anglesey, North Wales. Cath studied printmaking in Sheffield and ceramic design at university in Copenhagen, graduating in 2000. She began Miss Marple Makes around 10 years or so later. Her ceramic world is a happy place with cute characters and smiley faces, with both Welsh and Scandinavian themed pieces and lots of vibrant colour. Cath’s intention is to create something that brightens your day and makes you smile.

Naomi Ann Clarke is a freelance illustrator, muralist, art teacher and designer from Cardiff.

Naomi enjoys making illustrations that focus on our connection to the natural world, adventure and our heritage, whether that’s an illustration of one of her favourite films, The Lord of the Rings, illustrative maps or impressive landscapes.

Her illustration style is a combination of hand cut collage and digital collages, both inspired by the process of painting, collage and printmaking. Recently she’s started print making again and is excited what she will produce.

Rebecca creates nature-inspired watercolour artwork, transforming hand-painted designs into thoughtful, gift-led collections. Rebecca’s work celebrates the beauty of the British countryside and Welsh heritage, with two Welsh ranges—the Welsh dragon and Welsh daffodil, reflecting a strong sense of place. Rebecca creates high-quality, beautifully presented products that connect people with nature and storytelling through art.

Saltwater & Starlight Ceramics are handmade on the Llŷn Peninsula by Pwllheli based artist Jessica Leese.

Jessica takes inspiration from the Stunning Scenery of North Wales and the rich and diverse folklore of the United Kingdom. While also referencing her past as a jeweller and silversmith by including gold and platinum lustres in her work.

Using silver chain, wire and sheet as alternatives to thread, wool and fabric, Suzanne Claire creates handcrafted beautiful tactile French knitted, crocheted, embroidered and woven jewellery.

UME’s jewellery is inspired by shape and form both from nature and their surroundings. It is continually evolving and in 2025 they started to use colour through vitreous enamel and gemstones to enhance the designs.

Working predominantly in recycled silver, as they are drawn to the resilient and
responsive nature of the precious metal. They do however also work in gold, mainly
remodelling commissions, and less precious metals like tin as they enjoy the idea of
recycling discarded items and giving them a new life.

They enjoy using traditional silversmithing techniques, which they use as a foundation to create simple, elegant, contemporary jewellery. They enjoy the hands on nature of the process and the discipline it requires; making each piece by hand.
