What reminds you of home? What would you miss if you left your home or the place you live? Do you have a family heirloom that has been passed down through generations? Do you have a favourite place – if so, what reminds you of it?
Join us at the Mostyn this half term anytime between the times of 11am – 3pm for a free drop in workshop where we’ll use the technique of applique to create motif patches. Inspired by the colourful works of Vanessa da Silva, you’ll create patches that explore the themes of her work within her exhibition, ‘Roda Vida’ such as her Brazilian heritage, nationality, identity, displacement, ancestry and the circle of life.
This workshop is designed for all ages and abilities to attend.
