Introducing SYFRDANOL – a pop-up exhibition that offers a unique window into the vibrant contemporary art scene of North Wales. This showcase presents a diverse collection of artworks across various mediums, inviting you to explore an art scene characterised by curiosity, resilience, and liveliness. SYFRDANOL stands as a heartfelt tribute to the local artists who have left a profound impact on the artistic heritage of the region. It’s a recognition and celebration of their valuable contributions. The title SYFRDANOL (pronounced surf-dan-ol), which means astonishment in Welsh, perfectly captures the essence of what awaits you.
Among the featured artists are Marie Jones, Jen Corr, Manon Awst, Lisa Carter Grist, Gwen Vaughan, Angela Davies, Ella Jones, Catrin Menai, Gethin Wyn Jones and Wendy Leah Dawson. The exhibition is curated by Rebecca Hardy-Griffith.
The showcase will unfold on the ground floor of HAUS located at 26 Augusta St, Llandudno, LL30 2AE.
