Talk – Oriel Machno: the story (so far) of a rural community project space

16 June 2023

Time: 3:00pm-4:00pm

Talk

Join us for a free public event with artist Kristin Luke. The talk will focus on the journey and possibilities of a rural community project space, Oriel Machno, in Penmachno. Once a shop, then a photography darkroom, it has been transformed into a communal space with programmes of activities and exhibitions driven by the community in Penmachno. It is an example of how collaborative creative work can empower communities and strengthen shared identities.

This event is a part of the Isdyfiant project generously funded by Natural Resources Wales.

Please note there may be a photographer present at this event, you may give or refuse consent to be photographed on the day.
