Ganwyd Taloi Havini (Llwyth Nakas, pobl Hakö) yn Arawa, Rhanbarth Ymreolus Bougainville. Mae’n defnyddio ymarfer ymchwil yn seiliedig ar ei chysylltiadau ar ochr ei mam â’i gwlad a chymunedau yn Bougainville. Amlygir hyn mewn gwaith a grëwyd gan ddefnyddio cyfryngau amrywiol, gan gynnwys ffotograffiaeth, sain a fideo, cerfluniau, gosodiadau trochi a phrint. Mae’n curadu ac yn cydweithio ar draws llwyfannau aml-gelf gan ddefnyddio archifau, gweithio gyda chymunedau, a datblygu comisiynau yn lleol ac yn rhyngwladol. Mae cynhyrchu gwybodaeth, trosglwyddo, etifeddiaeth, mapio a chynrychiolaeth yn themâu canolog yng ngwaith Havini lle mae’n archwilio’r rhain mewn cysylltiad â thir, pensaernïaeth a lle.

Mae Havini yn byw ac yn gweithio yn Brisbane, Awstralia. Mae’n cael ei chynrychioli gan Silverlens, Manila/Efrog Newydd.
